One thing that really makes me uneasy about the Scorpio is that the vehicle is almost entirely controlled by electronics and sensors. I'm not quite sure how robust these are. If a sensor blows when one is deep in the jungle and mired in slush, it could mean an awful lot of trouble.
In the Scorpio ad on TV you see a vehicle buried under a snowdrift, and then this sexy babe appears in an helicopter (presumably from Customer Service) and clears away the snow with her rotors. Now, if only we could all get this kind of service....

On a lighter note. I have read in one of the magazines, if you happen to be have some of the so called premium credit cards(which is meant for people who never need a credit card), the card company will arrange to airlift you from the middle of Alaska if you call them in your satellite phone. May be the guy in the Ad had one of them. may be he is Mr Bond. Not for Mere mortals like us.
Am really sorry. Try a Bolero 4x4 - seriously, for your kinda work you need a jeep not a "SUV". Am sure by now you got a taste of so called SUV. SUV looks and works good inside cities with the following BIG wheel, BIGGER tyres, FOG lamps, tinted glass, noisy music system, few 4x4 stickers...

we have a 4wd scorpio.had to wait for nearly a year before we got it. but it was worth the wait. it is great though it cant be as nimble as a gypsy or jeep, we have the comforts of a car/SUV. there are a few minor problems... but the scorpio has never let us down during any trip :)
